The Welsh Artist of the Year Competition 2006
26 June-12 August 2006 – Levels 1, 2 & 4
Back by popular demand the national Welsh Artist of the Year Exhibition, featuring the wealth of artistic ability in Wales and beyond. Organised by St David’s Hall Foyer Galleries, the event is one of the highlights of the visual arts calendar in Wales, representing work by over 140 artists and craftspeople living and working in Wales, or of Welsh descent living in the UK.
If you would like to vote for your favourite painting in this year’s Welsh Artist of the Year exhibition please pick up one of the voting forms from the Gallery Information Desk on Level 2.

Prom in a Primary
The Drum Blondes will be taking the Welsh Proms Cardiff party into primary schools to share the fun and musical games with the audiences of the future. The musicians who are performing in Lunchtime Prom II will be introducing live music to keystage 1 & 2 children through performances and workshops in Cardiff schools.
