David Childs - Soloist
David Childs has emerged as one of the finest euphonium players in the world today becoming the first ever euphonium soloist to win the brass final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year 2000. Since that time he has not ceased to wow audiences with his astonishing technique, extrovert musicality and engaging stage presence.
This is a young musician dedicated to lifting the profile of the euphonium and proving the instrument as a serious solo vehicle within the classical world of music.
